Scanning and cleaning issues
When CCleaner has finished it's scan, it will not remove found issues. Instead, the removable issues are displayed in a list.
All found issues are selected for removal, wich should be okay for normal PC's, however, if preferable or necessary, issues can be deselected by removing the checkmark in front of the issue.

When you're satisfied with the selection, click the button Fix selected issues ... to start the cleaning-process
Before CCleaner is going to remove issues, it asks if you want to backup the changes it will make by removing the registry-entries.

ALWAYS answer Yes to this question.
It will take less then a minute (a lot less! ...) to make it and it can save you a lot of trouble.
Next, you can select a name and folder to save the backup to.
By default this is a filename like
cc_20060419_2024.reg in your My Documents-folder.

Normally, there is no need to change that, however you can change the name of the file and the folder, in wich it will be stored.
After the backupbackup has been made, a new window pops up, wich gives you final control on wich items will definately will be repaired.
The window will show the first issue.
There are also 5 buttons, with wich you can:

<<
  Go to the previous issue.
>>
  Go to the next issue.
Fix Issue

Fix the issue, that is shown.
Fix All selected Issues
  (speak's for itself...)
Close

Close the window and return to CCleaner's main-
  window.
