The
cleaner-window has 2 parts:
- The Cleaner Settings
Here you can select all
parts of Windows
CCleaner can clean.
It has 2 tabpages, Windows and
Applications, with item that can be
(de)selected.
By Removing or setting
the checkmark in front
of the item, you
deselect or select it for
cleaning, respectively.
The standard-setting
are usually okay to use
- The progress part
Here, CCleaner will
show the list of files and
folders that have been
cleaned or will be
cleaned, when you use
the Analyse-function.
At the
bottom of the window, there are two button:
- Analyze
Clicking
this button lets CCleaner analyze the
selected parts of
Windows and Applications.
This option will not
clean anything, but will
show a list of files
and folders that can be
cleaned.
You can save this list
as a textfile by right-
clicking in the list.
- Run
Cleaner
By
clicking this button, CCleaner will clean the
selected parts of the
Window- and
Applications-tabpages.
The very first time
that you clean, CCleaner
will ask you if you
really want to permanently
delete files from your
system.
If you don't want to
see this message every
time you let CCleaner
clean your computer, put
the checkmark in front
of Do not show me
this message again and
click OK.
CCleaner will now start
it's cleaning-process.
When
CCleaner is done cleaning, it will show a list of cleaned files and
folders.
You can save this list in a textfile, by rightclicking in it and then
click Save
to textfile...
